STATEMENT:
Democratic Party of
Iranian Kurdistan condemns the immature statements of Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad
16 December 2005
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on Israel
to be “wiped out of the map “on 26th October 2005 in “World
without Zionism” conference. He also called the Holocaust of
European Jews a “myth” and offered to move the state of Israel to
Europe during Islamic Summit in Saudi Arabia on December 8.
His statements have also been repeated during his last visit to the
city of Zahedan.
The newly installed president,
Ahmadinejad is not only incapable of managing the internal crises of
Iran and improving the life standards of Iranian people, but also, he
is in the process of forming regional conflicts and hauling Iran into
an unknown future.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his aides,
instead of guiding and drawing borders for the state of Israel and
disconcerting the peace process between Israel and Palestinians, are
better to concentrate on the millions of Iranian youths who suffer
from unemployment, addiction, hunger, despair, and etc…have made their
lives unbearable.
Since Ahmadinejad and other
authorities of the Islamic republic are well aware of the fact that
they are incapable of dealing with the internal difficulties, their
attempt: by generating new crises in the region and hollow slogans,
they hope to derail the attention of the poor, unemployed and hungry
people of Iran towards the borders outside of Iran, particularly the
destruction of Israel. Unaware of the fact that the Iranian people
have frequently heard such slogans in many forms from the Islamic
rulers in Iran in the last few decades, and are fed up with them. The
essence of Ahmadinejad and its Islamic republic are now well clear for
the Iranian people and the people of Iran as before can not be swayed.
We as, Democratic Party of Iranian
Kurdistan condemn the immature and controversial statements of Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad, and consider such statements as meddling in the affairs
of other countries and disregarding the international conventions. We
believe such statements will inflict increasing damage to the fragile
situation of the Middle East.
